HOW SHIPPING WORKS!

STANDARD U.S. SHIPPING (except items marked "Freight", PO Boxes, Alaska & Hawaii) for credit card orders over $79 is FREE. Shipping for orders under $79 is $5.95. Items are usually sent from our Alabama warehouse the same or next business day of the order via UPS Ground, and occasionally USPS when appropriate. Customer is responsible to make sure packages arrive. Please contact us within 2 weeks if packages fail to arrive. HANDLING FEE A $1.99 handling fee applies for small orders with subtotals under $30.00. Most orders under $30.00 are placed by non-teachers, and we lose money on these orders because of our low teacher pricing and shipping. This helps us cover rising shipping costs on small orders. BACKORDERS will be shipped free for orders over $160 (standard U.S. ground only, no freight, PO boxes, Alaska, Hawaii, or international). If an item is out of stock at time of shipment it will be cancelled and refunded to your card for orders under $160. You can request via e-mail (support@teacherstorehouse.com) that the item be put on backorder. Customer pays the costs of additional shipments on orders under $160. SHIPPING UPGRADES may be selected during checkout. Backorders are not available for orders with shipping upgrades. Residential shipping upgrades only count weekdays as shipping days. Please allow one weekday processing to be safe. If a package is needed in 3 days then 3-day shipping will likely not arrive in time. CLOSEOUT ITEMS Inventory quantities are updated once daily. Closeout items are non-refundable. FREIGHT & SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS are not eligible for the free shipping offer, and incur additional shipping costs. Freight shipments can be expensive. There are no estimates for freight shipments, and we don't add any fees on top of what you are charged by the shipping company. Actual shipping cost is charged at the time of shipping in a second transaction. Freight and special order items that ship directly from the manufacturer are not eligible for returns, and cannot be cancelled once ordered. PURCHASE ORDERS placed with payment terms over time are not eligible for free shipping. INCORRECT ADDRESS The customer is responsible for any additional charges incurred by the shipping company for address corrections on orders where you enter the address incorrectly during checkout. ORDER ERRORS You have 30 days to report orders not arriving, or missing or damaged items, as we cannot file a claim for the shipment after 30 days.
