What do you think are the positives and negatives of being an art teacher?
Positives: get to paint, weave, draw, sculpt with kids. Negatives: do you have any clothes without paint on them? _____________________ Teacher Storehouse, Toon University |

Positives: You can be a spazz and it does not seem out of place for an art teacher. Kids love your class. Creativity is king. You reach kids that will not respond in a math or English class. You can be passionate about your subject and share this with your classes. You can play music during assignments.
Negatives: Parents do not take your class seriously. Ordering supplies is exhausting. Keeping your room clean is work. Not too many negatives--it is the best job!!! |

So it would seem that the positives outweigh the negatives by a lot. It would seem to me that being able to use your creativity every day would be a better release than using your math or social studies knowledge and skills. Unless you really love math. _____________________ Teacher Storehouse, Toon University |
